It was hard for me to get in the Christmas spirit this year with no family around but, I was super excited to have Christmas at home with Owen.
The day before Christmas eve I had a doctors appointment and got to hear that precious little heart beat, that was a good way to start the holiday week.
Christmas eve morning Owen woke up begging to open his Christmas eve present, instead we took a bath and when he got in he said "I have an idea! A Christmas light idea! Lets go look at Christmas lights!!!" We somehow made it through the day, went and looked at Christmas lights, came back and opened his present (jammies, movie, popcorn, juice box, Christmas book and goldfish crackers), watched his new movie, set out a water bottle and cookies for Santa and then went to bed. I was so excited to get the monster in bed so Santa could come!!
As soon as Owen woke up on Christmas morning he asked "did Santa come!?" It was really cute!
We had a good time opening presents and eating orange rolls, and cinnamon rolls. It was a great Christmas morning, and we had an even better Christmas dinner! Yum! I am a good cook ;)
This year Owen asked for:
Running car (yeah, Santa and I didn't know what that was until Christmas eve)
Train tracks
Trains
Train station
