Owen the Artist

I went to Hobby Lobby and got some paint so I could finish some sign orders before I go out of town on Wednesday to the big city of Piedmont, Oklahoma. When I got home from the hoblob I left the paint in the bag by the door while I prepped some of the boards/canvases. THEN I jumped on my computer to check out my online orders to make sure I had everything I needed. Owen was being really quite while I was checking orders and when I looked at him there he was, sitting in the living room with an open, brand new, EMPTY, bottle of hot pink paint all over the light tan/off white carpet. I wish I could have seen my face, this look of horror came over me and all I could do was stare for like 15 seconds! and then I ran around like a chicken with its head cut off for another 15 seconds. tick tick tick, that paint is drying Laura. I ran and grabbed our Hyla and set up the carpet cleaner and started to clean it up and then the carpet shampooer head broke off!!! AUUGGHH!!!! We have a mini head for furniture but I knew I didn't have time to search for it (I think its in the attic and I am not about to get up there. Way. to. HOT!) so I cleaned that shiz up by hand. I am proud to announce I got ALL of the paint out of the carpet. Now I have one super super clean, white spot in the middle of the floor haha I guess it's time to clean the carpets again, but now my machine needs a new part. What a day. Can't wait to have a little break!
