Mollys Homecoming (..at the airport)
This was the BEST Valentines Day, Besides the fact that Owen was really, really, really sick! Molly came home!! It had been 18 long months of not seeing her. We are so happy to have her home :) I made sure to get the VERY FIRST hug because im selfish and HAD to hug her FIRST! Of coarse I cried, I have been such a baby about stuff post-pregnancy. This was Mollys first time meeting Owen! and Sammy and Will. (besides Christmas Skype) Molly flew home with an Elder who was returning to Meridian. His name was Elder Balentine.. or Valentine.. not sure.
Mollys Homecoming is this Sunday and I am so excited for it, Im excited too, to just be at my home ward. Its been a long, long time.
We all showed up to the airport half an hour early and then her flight was an hour and a half late.. Gosh I hated waiting! But we made it :) she is home safe and sound and had an AWESOME mission. She missed it already the second she got of the plane. She cant wait to go back for a visit! But were just happy to have Squally Molly home ;)

My Exciting Life
First I must say Congratulations to Davids sweet sister ! She had her seventh baby this morning and he is a beauty. I love him and cant wait to meet him!!
So I love Valentines Day. Just cause its fun! This Valentines Day will be a very memorable one! Im stoked, I know I have discussed my plans for the day already but let me remind you of how awesome it really will be- Owens doctor appointment, Presents and cards, Going to the movies to watch 'The Vow', and I saved the best for last... MY SISTER IS FLYING IN!!!!!!!!!
I am such a sap when it comes to cards. I love cards. David lived far away when we were dating and I sent him a bunch of random, awesome cards and, He still has. every. single. one. Im so glad he loves them. I dont like to home make cards that much... I really really like the big obnoxious ones that sing and dance around! But I like them to be cute and classy at the same time. There is a fine line between tacky and awesome and im very good at recognizing that line.. Last valentines day I thought I got him the card that I could never top. ever. not for the rest of my life! But, I also thought that the year before. BUT this year, this year,...this year I got. the best. most incredible. expensive. AWESOME. absolute best card. EVER! I can not wait to give it to him. Owen has my knack, he totally picked out a 100% awesome card as well and then he stamped his current foot and hand prints into them. precious. David rarely reads this thing but with my luck he is reading it...right now. Oh well, nothing I described above even comes close to the awesomeness. Owen and I also got Daddy an awesome present that he has really been wanting for a long, long time that I wont discuss on here. Just yet. Just in case. Im also so excited for it.
Not really anything new going on around the home though. When ever Owen meets someone knew he laughs and laughs and laughs at them for the longest time it is so funny!! I have no idea why he does that. He is a smart boy though :) He enjoyed some new flavors of baby food this week! Apple, and rice! He is a little unsure about that darn texture though :)
Today is the beginning of the work week, but I have a extra long weekend. So I promise you wont hear to many complaints out of this girl! ;)

ITS FRIDAY!!!
I am so glad that its Friday!!! That means today is my last day of work until Wednesday! Then I only have to work like 3 hours next Friday! and then MY SISTER COMES HOME!!!!!!! Wowwwyyy Im so excited!
The effing heater broke at work and so its colder in here than it is outside and I had a little space heater keeping me toasty but idk what its deal is cause its not blowing hot anymore...just semi warm. brrrrr.. The dang guy was supposed to come fix it at 10:30 this morning so I made sure to get here and he has not came yet and its 1130 and so im frozen and have been frozen all morning for no reason. Glad Owen is not here for this!
Yesterday When I came home from work Owen was wearing a freakin T-shirt and basketball shorts that are all 6mo size and they fit him PERFECT! I was so sad cause it made him look like a freakin 6 year old. I swear he grew 3 inches and gained 3 pounds while I was working yesterday!!! That outfit made him look just like Dad and so grown up. It was bittersweet. Motherhood is bittersweet.
Owen is a scooter
he has the strongest legs I have ever seen...for a babe anyway.
He is a roller, sometimes when he tries to really get going (scootin/crawlin) he accidentally rolls over haha its so cute.
I thought he was teething for a while but im not sure now.. He eats real food- not as a meal but more of a snack.
He is such a character. He is so funny, and thinks everything is hilarious.
Athena makes him so happy- whenever she comes to check on him he gets the biggest smile and giggles.
He also thinks no matter what dad does he is a comedian.. if he only knew ;)
He thinks im funny too but no one can beat dad and Athena.
He laughs at random people when they come over- the other day at the chiropractor Owen could not keep his eyes off the doctor :) Owen is so friendly!
He has his 4mo appointment in 2 weeks... I cant believe he will be 4mo in 2wks!!
So I got this new cook book that is all super healthy and tasty stuff. I got my cookbook on the 31st in the mail and was so excited to try some recipes but turns out I dont own ONE healthy thing in the house. I literally dont have one ingredient... So I need to go grocery shopping but wanted to wait til at least the 4th since its the first of the month... cause you all know what that means. Yep, busy grocery stores. So As im making a grocery list im thinking holy eff I have no idea what any of these ingredients are or what isle to find them in, so i found myself googleing most of them and finding out what they were, and what they looked like , and where I might find them in the store, then I printed off a isle directory of the Winco in Nampa and im figuring out where all my new groceries are :) Should make this grocery trip nice and quick! ....I hope anyway. Im super excited to start eating more healthy and feeding my family more healthy. using less bad fats and less processed foods- things like white flour, white rice, ketchup and A-1 im going to cut out. I know Dave wont take to that very well, so even if I could get that guy to eat a carrot a day I would be PUMPED. This means no more Olive Garden, no more costa vida/cafe rio, no more TGIF, no more CHINESE, But im not to sad about it, these recipes looks so fantastic and so many of them are super easy... I know you are all so glad i rambled on about this dang cookbook BUT im freakin excited!
Also im so glad Megan B is doing her little give-away! I LOVE MAKEUPPPPP!!! :) and I BETTER FREAKING WIN THIS give-away! If you love give-aways and make up as much as I do go to her silly cute blog and subscribe and read, read, read away ;) Happy Valentines month every body go out and treat your self to some roses, chocolate, balloons, and a love movie :)
Also I watched the saddest episode of Greys Anatomy last night. I love that show but it drives me crazy when I see them doing something medically incorrect. geeesh :) That is all! Happy Friday!

Work Without Baby Owen
AAAAARRRRRRRRRRRRRRGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
This is the first day that Owen can not come to work with me anymore :( I miss the little bug. Work is a lot less exciting with out him. He gets to stay with Dad and Grandma Christine. I guesss its not so bad, unlike most other working mommas I got to bring him with me this whole time! Which allowed me to come back to work sooner, miss out on NOTHING, and enjoy myself 24/7. I was so lucky! I only work 3 days a week but I work about 30ish hours in those 3 days, so they can be really long days. I hope I will survive this. I know Owen is having a freakin BLAST with Dad today- Owen, I wish I was at home with Dad also ;) I've had a fricken headache since yesterday so maybe today wasnt such a bad day to be 'alone'.
I hope I survive with out my little man with me ;) Happy Wednesday!!
