Life as We know it...
It's been a long time since my last blog, and a TON has been going on since!
Dave and I are still taking the Temple Prep Classes, so obviously we did not go in December on our 1 year anniversary as planned, But thats okay.. It clearly was not our time to go yet, But as we are drawn toward the end of our TP Class we feel more and more ready everyday, Our goal is the end of April/beginning of May =] It will be beautiful when its our turn!
For Thanksgiving this year we took the drive to OKC to spend it with Dave's family. We rode in the motor-home, (far nicer than most houses i've been in, and 3times the size of our first apartment). When we arrived in OKC the weather was 70-80degrees, We spent time in our swimsuits, short sleeves, and shorts. We went to the OKC Zoo (my favorite Zoo!) and spent time downtown (brick-town) we ate at Toby Keiths I Love This Bar and Grill, it was AWESOME! Being in OKC for a week reminded me of the times I came to visit Dave while we were dating, those are some good memories!
On our way home from OKC we got snowed into Utah for 3days...what a nightmare! =]
Dave and I had our 1year anniversary on December 3rd, We went shopping and had dinner with family, Thats exactly how I want to spend EVERY anniversary, with family =] We still have our wedding cake in the freezer... I'm afraid to eat it, and obviously the tradition to eat your wedding cake on your first anniversary is not that important to us haha =] Our anniversary present was our Flat Screen 60inch 3-D Internet TV, It is GLORIOUS! Dave and I love to watch movies together, and we LOVE to have "family time" with Zach, Sam, and the two of us. Every Thursday after work we watch Jersey Shore, its our favorite! Other favorites of ours are TEEN MOM2, THE OFFICE, MINUTE TO WIN IT, STORAGE WARS, old seasons of SCRUBS, SEX AND THE CITY, THAT 70'S SHOW, THE OFFICE, etc, etc!! We are TV junkies! We spend more time watching TV on the couch than in bed cause Dave doesn't like to watch the flat screen in our room , cause he says its too small for him to see hahah
Dave started his Winter/Spring Semester at BSU and is busy busy!! He traded my SUV for a very expensive very sexyy ;] crotch rocket! He loves spending his free time riding, He also got me another car which I very much enjoy and am grateful for, I'm grateful that we don't have any needs in life.
I have been searching for another baby girl to adopt, so Athena can have a sister =] I have found many wonderful Danes but none that call my name =[
We did however get a new pet(s). 3 Indian Stick Bugs...they are creepy and very stick like.
Dave and I got our passport applications, were working on filling those out and hopefully send them away soon. No, we don't have plans to go anywhere foreign right now but when we decide to go, we dont want to have to plan it our months and months in advance, we want to be able to go and not wait on passports.
We want to go EVERYWHERE!! I want to spend time in Germany and Paris with all my family who loves there. I want to go to India, Africa, Asia, Iceland, Switzerland, etc, etc.
I am very much missing my Sister Molly who is in Arcadia California picking Oranges from the church orchards, and sharing the gospel, by the ocean, in 90degree weather. This time next year she will be home and i'm very anxious to see her. I have had a new niece and very soon a new nephew will be here as well making the niece/nephew count 38!
Now my thoughts are scatter brained and i'm having a hard time making complete sentences =] I will not wait as long before I post my next adventures!!
